Great app

I keep looking for other apps that might be better but this one makes the most sense. Great features as well!

No voice guidance at the background

Hi! No voice guidance is provided if iPhone is locked. How do I suppose to see notifications while running with an iPhone in my pocket. Ridiculous

Very effective app

This app does what it says, very easy to use. Works well with my podcasts at the same time. Helpful workout regimen after five weeks. If you could do a 1/2 marathon version, Id love it!

Must Buy Running Program

Last summer I ran along to the Couch to 5K app... and ran my way through 12 5K races! Over the winter, I did the Couch to 10K app.... and just ran my first 10K race! This is an excellent program to get you off the couch and running all over the place. I have never been a fan of running, but through the 13 week program, I am now able to run a 10K without stopping! And I love it!

Missing distance!

Would be 5 stars if it had GPS distance tracker so we know how far weve gone!!! Please add to next update!!!!!

Great, but a few things Id like to see incorporated....

First off...A PEDOMETER. How the heck do I know if Im actually running a 10k? Im assuming they are using a general figure and average for the amount of time spent running, but each person is different. Id like to know what, at week 4, my progress is, how far Im actually going. I dont know how this ultimately can be successful for anyone if they dont know if they are running a full 10k or not. Id like more than just a 1/2 way verbalization. Something during each run portion maybe, like "doing great, 30 seconds left". Maybe a verbal 1/3 and 2/3 of the way through. A bit more motivational talk, so to speak during the trainings. Overall, this is a GREAT app. Id like to really see a pedometer built in though. I love that I choose my just run playlist and its all upbeat stuff. I am repeating week 4 because I feel like my body is telling me to. Dont worry if you need to repeat a week or even a day. Just do what your body tells you. I also am using the program 4 days a week and just repeating day 1 of that week for the 4th day. Loving the app. Really motivates me. And where before Id just quit before I reached my goal of say once around the track, now I run until I hear that voice say its ok to walk. Great to have it.

Great app

Telling all my friends about this fantastic app. I would like to see one that I can do after I finish this one. Im starting week 4 tomorrow and this is a great way to do it. It has made working out and running fun again and something that I can actually do.

Doin 6 miles in 1 hr 15 and not even at the end of program... I started as a non runner, I hated running. This app changes my life

Voice prompts pausing my music

I just started this app, and on my second workout the voice prompts started causing my music to pause/stop. Also the voice prompts are way too loud even though I have the voice prompt volume turned down. How do I fix this? I want to love this app, but I cant deal with the music issues.

Update* Ive completed the program and ran my 10k. It was the Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta. My weight is at 240 now and my training runs are 5 miles. Ive started a 20 week marathon training program and wish you guys had one. Im on week 8 and Im surprised that this program is working so well. I think back to when I started the program and how I could barely make the full 30 seconds of running. Following the program I had to push myself each week thinking there is no way Im going to be able to run for x amount of time, but each week Ive been able to complete the runs. Ive completed one 5k and was able to run 3 miles with the special Olympic torch to raise money. My 10 k is coming up in July and I cant wait. Ive only lost about 20 #s over the last 8 weeks, but Im losing inches on my waist. When I started the program I was over 280# with bad knees a resting heart rate of 89 and hypertension. My weight is down to 259 blood pressure is normal and my resting heart rate is 58. This program has turned my life around. My only complaint is the lack of GPS to track distance. Ive been using Nike+ or Run Keeper to track distance.

Great training app!

This app provides the methodology to truly get you from the couch to running. It is very easy to use and date stamps your runs. I am now running like the wind.

Great app!!! After not running for 6 yrs this app eases you back into running shape!! I would recommend it to anyone looking to get into shape or get back to their former glory.

This app deserves the highest praise possible, great work. I am a runner and my wife is not and this app provides us with the mechanism to become and stay fit together. Its an absolute dream! You wont be disappointed or discouraged, if you are looking to improve your life buy this app!

Getting a new mom back in shape!!

Best app ever!!! I have a 6 wk old so its been almost a year since I have been able to exercise!! I am a runner and right now am totally out of shape. This app is helping get my body back to running and back into my skinny jeans!! I love that its 3 days a week because thats all I am able to dedicate right now to exercising!! Thank you thank you thank you!

It has made running sooooooo much easier when you have someone to tell you what to while listening to your favorite playlist... A BIG THANK YOU.

It works pretty well. If ur an experienced runner dont get this app. Thats what I did but if u need to get in shape get this app

Pauses music....:(

Was a great app until the last update, but now it pauses my music every time there is a voice cue. I dont want to have to hit play every time I start or stop running. Fix this, and Ill give it five stars again. Until then Ill have to use something else.

Great way to get yourself back in running shape. I feel like I could run all day after finishing this.
